Dialight continues to be in the forefront of efficient design with the announcement of a 22% power reduction in the power for the 12 inch Green ITE LED traffic balls. Effective immediately the typical power dissipation for this product has been reduced from 9 watts to 7 watts. With this change a typical 3 section red, yellow, and green 12 inch can now be operated at less than 8 watts.

In comparison Dialight main competitors are all in excess of 20% higher in overall power dissipation for the same installation. That 20% can result in a significant energy cost savings by using Dialight’s LED traffic modules.

We are in process of updating the various literature and sales tool to reflect this change. All of these updates will be posted to the Dialight Traffic Distributor Network Blog site. The Dialight LED Traffic Signal Comparison Calculator has already been updated and the ITE Traffic Products Brochure and CO2 Reduction with LED Traffic Signals Document will be updated very shortly.

Dialight continues to be the leader by providing the lowest total cost of ownership for LED traffic signals.
